Bee Jackson, world champion Charleston dancer and a probable inspiration for “the bee’s knees,” was in Lying Wives in 1925; she played “danseuse” Betty Lee. That year The New York Times called the film, “Not So Good.” And that was about it. Literally. Other than listing the title & cast, that it.

I get that you want to share your link and all (and it’s a good informative post you have, which is why I’ve not deleted it), but please don’t accuse me of statements I didn’t make.
